Testimonials

The flute arrived today, well packed and in perfect condition. What a sweet-sounding instrument. Beside the Myoan pieces, I am able to play all my favorites.... I am very pleased. Thank you for the smooth process.  -Herbert, Austria
Just wanted to let you know the flute arrived safely, and I’ve absolutely fallen in love with it... from the very first roll, I was mesmerized. the sound is haunting and alive; every note feels like it has a dozen possible shades, and even slight changes in fingering make new subtleties appear. The way this flute smells, the traces of age, the tiny filled cracks and the whole wabi-sabi vibe—I can really feel its history every time I pick it up...thank you so much for making this flute available to me.  - Ata, Australia
The flute came and I love it! Every thing you said and even more. Marvelous sound!
Thank you .
- Richard, USA
The 1.5 arrived in great shape.  You did an amazing job of packing it .   Thank you.   I’ve just spent the last 1/2 hour trying it out and looking forward to really getting to know it. -Bridget, USA
The 1.5 has a beautiful old voice. In my goldilocks zone of timbre and tuning. Surprised to note it's at rokusun pitch despite being so slender. Obviously, made by a player with an elegant ear and eye. -Adam, USA
The shakuhachi is easy to play. Wonderful balance. Gorgeous Jinashi sound.
I have several shakuhachis with excellent tuning, and some that sound incredibly sweet.
This shakuhachi combines both qualities – WOW !!!. - Robin, Switzerland
I was impressed by the packing job and especially by the instrument itself, which is very beautiful. After a couple of persistent hours...I was finally able to get sound out of it, and as of this morning I am able to play most of the lower octave. Needless to say, I already feel bonded to the instrument and have completed my audition.  - Connor, USA
